Live Lounge spotlights the hottest underground acts shaking up London’s music scene—raw talent, real vibes, unforgettable nights.

Offtask are a 4-piece rock band from Brighton, England. Their music blends elements of post punk, indie rock and alternative rock. They have played a variety of iconic venues in their local area, putting on exciting and powerful performances. Influenced by artists from the 1960s and the modern day alike, Offtask released their first single “South” in August, an upbeat and fast indie song compared to the likes of early Kings of Leon and Foo Fighters.

We are the catastrophe a young indie rock band out of Brighton. Performing an intriguing but unique set of originals along with timeless covers.

Kensal is an alt-rap, pop, and soul artist from London, crafting music that feels like a breath held and gently released. Rooted in spoken word and soul tradition, their songs unfold like poetry, an introspective style shaped by influences like Erykah Badu, Frank Ocean, James Blake and UMI. Kensal creates soundscapes that invite stillness and self-reflection.

3PLAY boasts over 25 years combined music performance combined between each band member.Alex James - Vocals/Lead guitar. Alex started learning guitar from the age of 5. Transferred his amazing guitar tones and knowledge of song writing helping us achieve some incredible sounding riffs and melodies. Alex also offers a strong voice being able to hit high powerful notes engaging to listeners. Alex founded the band in February 2022 and has been responsible for getting gigs for the band and running the social media accounts.

Callum has spent many years honing his craft and finding his unique vocal style, and now feels that he is in a position to further his career as a vocalist. After living and working in London for the past year in various entertainment positions, Callum made the decision to join the cruise industry full time as an entertainment host with Marella Cruise Line earlier this year.

Crispin is an in-person, person. A self-driven artist from Gloucester, he blends heartfelt ballads with soaring rock energy. Raised in cathedral choirs, he built his sound from raw emotion and relentless craft—bringing his vision to life across music and film. A natural connector, he turns every stage personal, making modern music feel human again.

Barney Connolly is a 25-year old singer-songwriter from Dunedin, New Zealand. He has brought his Elliott Smith/Nick Drake-esque inspired compositions to London, after moving here in early 2024. With a history of touring in loud alternative rock bands in his home country, in addition to more than a decade of performing classical piano, his nuanced songs demand an attentive ear.
