With utter childlike delight it is our greatest pleasure to introduce Spring Equinox 2026 to honour our favourite childhood book of all time

We are so very excited to honour our favourite book of all time - The Faraway Tree as we did last year at the rurn of the wheel. We had such an amazing, fun time we have decided to do it all again and journey to the Faraway Tree.

This book has always had a special place in my heart. I used to go to bed thinking about it as a child. I used to visualise myself in the tree talking to the characters and in different lands which I now know to be the realms of spirituality. The enchanted wood and the tree was a place of magic, of enchantment and I lived most my childhood years in the Faraway Tree with my favourite characters and lands at the top.

It was through picking up a copy in a charity shop in recent years that I rembered how meaningful these Enid Blyton books had been to me and just how magical they truly are. Even a film has just been made about it.

Equinox is a magical time so please come join me, Grant, the spellmaker plus reader, Matt Bentley to mark the changing of the seasons and recapture our childhood essence.

.Oh my days what world we be at the top of the tree and will Silky and Moonface slide down the slippery slip? We invite you to come in costume as your favourite character such as Angry Pixie or Dame Washalot or just your own fav outfit or as you wish.

This Spring Equinox gathering will be held around a Faraway Tree at our favourite location in the universe - High Lane Farm, Gawsworth where every inch of this land oozes magic and peace. We will hold Ceremony, connect with the medicine of Mama Cacao, drum, meditate, set enchanted intentions, share, visit the Land of Spells and have a collective card reading.

Even if your not really familiar with The Faraway Tree come along and join us to celebrate the day and night in equal lenghts. .

Our Gatherings throughout the year are to help build community, provide a safe space to share, connect to nature and the elements and a higher power.

IT IS IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO PLEASE BRING THE ITEMS BELOW WITH YOU - WE CANNOT PROVIDE THEM SO

Please bring with you:-

Drums or rattles if you have one

Blanket and mat

Bottle of water

Journal and pen

Hot water bottle

Offerings to the fire like incense or sage.

PLEASE NOTE ANYONE BOOKING ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT AFTER 11AM CANNOT BE GUARANTEED A CUP OF CACAO. OUR CACAO IS MADE WITH OATMILK.

Cacao is a sacred medicine and healing plant which has been found to help with depression and anxiety - those with heart issues and bleeding disorders and on other medicines and have other conditons or illnesses should seek advice before taking cacao. Our cacao is made with oat milk and spices.

We ask that if you have high blood pressure, heart issues, allergic to chocolate, are pregnant, or are prone to severe anxiety or are on antidepressant or any other medication, that you do not consume the full amount of cacao served in these ceremonies.
