The Mannequin 

Das Stück is a London-based theatre company that creates highly stylised productions and multimedia performances. We focus on both stage-adaptions and new-writing which explores the themes of identity, queerness, femme-oppression and the oppression of women, and artistic creation.We want to take You into our own aesthetic creation, through a mixture of performance, visuals, the senses and film. In our work we explore applying elements of film direction to the stage. Das Stück in collaboration with the King's Players

The Mannequin - A new writing play by Sam Kindon

From the streets of Soho to the drag bars of Montmartre, the frantic lives of these artists all revolve around ‘The Mannequin’. Models, designers, lovers, and writers all desire attention and validation in lives, only to be left feeling inadequate and alone. Throughout the course of two evenings they find solace in each other and their work leading to closure. In this multimedia production, a piece of new writing with original film and costume, relationships to the queer body and relationships within the arts industry are explored in a burst of film projection and sensory immersion.
The Mannequin is a Das Stück production in collaboration with King's Players, on it's way to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019. These performances are part of a series of previews that will be held in a London in April and July 2019. The performances held on the 26th &amp; 27th of April will be the first representations of the original play by Sam Kindon. It will be the only opportunities to see the play in its full length prior to its adaption for the Fringe Festival.
