Is the hike suitable for beginners?

Yes — while the route is classified as challenging, the Llanberis Path is the most beginner-friendly route up Snowdon. The pace will be steady, with regular breaks and trained stewards supporting throughout.

Is this event family-friendly?

Absolutely. We welcome siblings, cousins, parents, and families to join — as long as participants are 16 years or older.

Question 3

What time will the hike finish?

Accepted Answer

We expect to finish and return to base by around 6:30–7:00 PM, depending on group pace, breaks, and weather. We recommend keeping your evening free — you'll want time to rest, recharge, and let the experience settle in.

Will there be food and drink?

Accepted Answer

Yes — lunch, snacks, hot drinks, and proper Desi Chai are all provided. You’re welcome to bring extras if you like, but we’ll have more than enough to keep you fuelled.

What if it rains?

Unless the weather is dangerously severe, the hike will go ahead. Bring waterproofs, and we’ll embrace the adventure. In the unlikely case of cancellation, we’ll inform you the day before and offer alternative plans or a full refund.

Can I get a student or group discount?

Yes — we offer a £15 student rate, and discounts for families or groups. Just drop us an email at admin@medology.co.uk to claim.

How do I get there? Will transport be provided?

We’re meeting at the Royal Victoria Hotel Car Park at 8:00 AM sharp. Transport is your own responsibility.

That’s exactly who this is for. Come as you are. No prior hiking experience is needed — just basic fitness and a good attitude.

Will the hike be segregated?

Accepted Answer

This will be a family-friendly and values-conscious environment, with natural walking arrangements that prioritise everyone’s comfort and space. While full segregation isn't enforced (e.g. for families attending together), we’ll have separate groupings and walking clusters throughout the hike.

What do I need to bring?

Bring:

Sturdy hiking shoes or trainers
Waterproofs (just in case)
A reusable water bottle
A small backpack
We’ll provide the rest: food, drinks, reflections, and the vibes.
