Do I also need to buy a  Dutch Design Week (DDW) to take part?

Accepted Answer

You do not need a Dutch Design Week (DDW) ticket to enter the BioArt Lab space. To take part in the workshop you just need to buy an Eventbrite ticket (under 13's go free and do not need a ticket, but must be accompanied by a ticket paying adult).

What do I need to bring with me?

Accepted Answer

All materials will be provided,  you may wish to bring a notebook and pens/ pencils with you as well as water and some snacks if required.

What clothing should I wear?

Accepted Answer

We will be outside for most of the day so warm clothing is essential, please wear appropriate footwear as the 'field trip' part of the day will involve walking and it may be muddy.

We cannot predict the weather, so rain gear could be appropriate.

What access needs are there?

Accepted Answer

The field trip part of the session involves a bit of walking and takes place in a location that is off-grid and surrounded by forests. That means that the terrain is somewhat rough/difficult for people with wheelchairs and they require some support.

Question 5

Do I need to buy a ticket if I am accompanying my children?

Accepted Answer

Yes we ask that adults buy a ticket if they are accompanying anyone under the age of 13. The workshop is for anyone over the age of 7+ anyone attending who is under 13 will not need a ticket.

Can I just attend the workshop or field trip part of the session?

Both are connected so that we ask that you attend the whole of the session.

Where is the location and meeting point?

Please meet up to 10 mins before the workshops time at the main entrance of BioArt Laboratories Foundation site, Oirschotsedijk 14-10, 5651 GC Eindhoven, Netherlands. BioArt Labs is only accessible from the Achtseweg Zuid, opposite the Philips Fruittuin at Oirschotsedijk 14a.

Are dogs allowed?

Unfortunately dogs are not allowed as other works and activities will be exhibited around the same location.
