The Mid Suffolk Taxi Bus: Launch Event

Location: John Peel Centre for Creative Arts, Stowmarket, Church Walk, IP14 1ET.

Running order: Speeches at 1:30pm, information and networking with refreshments available all afternoon.

Come join us at the John Peel Centre for Creative Arts in Stowmarket for the exciting launch event of The Mid Suffolk Taxi Bus!

The Mid Suffolk Taxi Bus has been funded by a Mid Suffolk District Council Rural Transport Grant and is being delivered by Swift Taxi Cabs. It is a new model of passenger transport being piloted primarily in the central and south areas of the distrcit, with the aim of reducing single occupancy car use for commuting and journeys for leisure.

This in-person event will be a fantastic opportunity to learn more about this new service and how it will benefit the community. Meet the team behind the project, see the new fleet vehicles, ask questions, and enjoy some light refreshments.

There will also be the opportunity to learn more about another emerging new transport provision for the north of the district that has also been funded by a Mid Suffolk District Council Rural Transport Grant.

Reserving a place is free, but donations to the Stowmarket Mayor's charity will be welcome on the day, as a token of appreciation for the Mayor's support for this project.
