The Mood Movement: Foundations

Postnatal Movement | 0–12 Weeks Postpartum

90 minute expert led session

Foundations is a structured postnatal movement event designed for women in the early postpartum period who want to return to movement safely, confidently, and with expert guidance.

This session focuses on rebuilding the essentials: breath, pelvic floor function, core integration, and nervous system regulation. It is not about “getting fit” quickly, it is about laying the groundwork for long-term strength, resilience, and recovery.

Led by a military-trained PT with over 10 years experience in pregnancy and postnatal fitness, women’s health, and wellness, this event bridges the gap between rest and structured exercise in a calm, supportive environment.

What to Expect

• Guided breathwork and nervous system downregulation

• Pelvic floor and deep core reconnection

• Gentle, progressive full-body movement

• Education on safe movement patterns in early postpartum

• Space to move at your own pace, with professional supervision

Who This Is For

• 0–12 weeks postpartum

• Vaginal or caesarean birth

• First-time or experienced mothers

• Anyone cleared for gentle movement by their healthcare provider

What This Is Not

• High-intensity exercise

• A weight-loss or “bounce back” class

• A generic group fitness session
