We will walk out to the edge of the moss, looking for bats and using detectors to listen for them. Then we will use a UV light to see if we can attract any moths. There are stiles to cross and uneven ground, though we will not be walking more than about a mile in total.

Booking required. Bring stout footwear, warm and waterproof clothing and a torch. Bring sunglasses with UV-protection if you have them for use around the moth trap. Children over eight are welcome, but must be accompanied by an adult. Sorry, no dogs.

The exact meeting point will be emailed 24 hours prior to the event.
