The Nurturing Programme: Sandhill Primary School
Our 10-week course helps parents learn the skills they need to help children build resilience, empathy, self-esteem & positive relationships
The course will help you learn:
- What appropriate expectations looks like at different ages
- How to develop children's self-esteem and personal identity
- The importance of good emotional health, both in ourselves as parents and in our children, and how to strengthen this
- How having positive relationships with our children support them to build healthy beliefs about themselves and others
- The ages and stages in children's development and how parents can help children solve problems at each of these points.
Who is it for?
Aimed at parents with children aged 3-12 years old.

These sessions are for parents/carers and other adult family members only.
There are no onsite parking facilities
