THE PATTERNED UPCYCLE

This week we are back with another pattern session and we will be preparing for summer BIG TIME with a personalisation themed workshop where we will be up cycling old/thrifted/plain clothes. Think old shirts, shorts and denim that have been forgotten in your wardrobe!

We will be using stencils, bleach and fabric paint to execute our ideas next week , but as a painter and sculptor I will be learning WITH YOU 🙏🏿 🥀

If I’ve learnt anything from making art after uni it’s that taking risks is very necessary to produce art- (disclaimer: I am not saying come and ruin your jacket pls 🧏🏿‍♀️ )

For the best results, please bring:

100% cotton clothing where possible

CLEAN/WASHED Denim, cotton shirts, shorts, tote bags or jackets

AN IPAD IF YOU HAVE ONE!! Will make it really super duper easy to trace your design onto a shirt !

Also come with pattern ideas or references if you have some ! Think of your favourite things like artists, music/ music bands, motifs, animals (or you arsenal fans)

If you plan on using bleach you will need a navy/dark/black shirt fyi!
