About Mr Jon McFarlane:
Mr Jon McFarlane is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Bath Clinic, specialising in prostate cancer and other prostate conditions. He trained at Oxford and Cambridge Universities, followed by specialist urology training in Oxford and a fellowship in Melbourne. In 2002, he was awarded the prestigious Keith Yeates gold medal for his FRCS(Urol) and furthered his expertise at Memorial Sloan Kettering in New York.
Since becoming a consultant in Bath in 2002, Jon has introduced several advanced techniques including laparoscopic radical prostatectomy, brachytherapy, and transperineal biopsy. He has held senior NHS leadership roles and served as National Clinical Advisor for prostate cancer services. Jon provides a fast, personalised approach to care and works closely with colleagues in the Bath Urology Group to ensure comprehensive, consultant-led support.
