Join us at Cockenzie House & Gardens for The Pumpkin Patch, a relaxed family day out celebrating everything we love about autumn!

📅 Saturday 24th & Sunday 25th October 2026🕚 11am–3pm

Wander through the beautiful gardens, enjoy our Interactive Storytelling with music & song, get creative with pumpkin carving and autumn crafts, have a go at our carnival games and enjoy plenty of autumn fun along the way.

🎃 Please note: Pumpkins are not included with admission and are available to purchase separately on the day.

🎶 Interactive Storytelling with Music & Song

Join our storyteller for a fun, interactive storytelling session filled with music, songs and plenty of opportunities for little ones to join in.

Sessions take place at 12pm, 1pm and 2pm each day and are included with admission.

🎨 Pumpkin Carving & Autumn Crafts

Head to the Willow Room where children can get creative with a selection of autumn crafts and pumpkin carving activities.

📸 Autumn Photo Opportunities

We’ll be transforming areas of the gardens with pumpkins and autumn displays, creating plenty of opportunities for some lovely family photos.

🎃 Explore the Pumpkin Patch

Wander through the patch and autumn displays and choose your favourite pumpkin which can be purchased at the pumpkin points.

🎃 Pick Your Pumpkin

Pumpkins are purchased separately and are NOT included in your admission ticket.

Choose your favourite from the patch for purchase at the pumpkin points. you can then take it along to our carving area before taking it home.

Carnival tickets can be purchased from our Pumpkin Points around the event.

A selection of hot food, sweet treats, coffee and hot drinks will be available to purchase throughout the day.

🧒 Child (2–15 years) – £5

🧑 Adult (16+) – £4

👶 Under 2s – FREE

There are no timed entry sessions. Simply book for your chosen day and arrive anytime between 11am and 3pm.

Children aged 15 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18 or over and remain under their supervision while at the event.

Admission includes the activities listed above but does not include a pumpkin. Pumpkins, carnival games and food & drink are additional purchases.

Come along and pick a pumpkin, enjoy a story, get creative, play some games and soak up the autumn atmosphere in the beautiful surroundings of Cockenzie House & Gardens. 🎃🍂
