Celebrating Greater Manchester Histories and Heritage, Manchester Histories is a growing and dynamic charity (charity number:1151944).We work collaboratively with people, organisations and partners to reveal and celebrate the stories of the people and places that make up Greater Manchester. We connect people together to explore the past and shape the future through histories and heritage.

Manchester Histories

Thu 1 Aug, 6pm – 7.30pm (doors 5.30pm)
Musical concert performance of street ballads written around the time of the Peterloo Massacre, telling the story of the underlying circumstances, the events of the day, and the aftermath. Songs are performed by folk musicians Pete Coe, Brian Peters and Laura Smyth, with a variety of acoustic instruments.
