Welcome to The Sacred Pause, event at Karinya Yoga in Beverley!
The Sacred Pause is an invitation to step away from the external demands of life and the constant activity of the mind, and gently come back home to yourself.
In a world that rewards productivity, speed, and mental effort, many of us live with a mind that is under stimulated and a nervous system that is overwhelmed. We move from one task to the next without ever fully resetting.
Over time, this becomes our “normal” - and manifests as mental health issues, such as anxiety, low mood, fatigue, etc
This 90-minute session is not about fixing yourself or trying to relax harder. It’s about creating the conditions where your system can naturally begin to regulate again. You don't need fixing, just realigning.
You’ll be guided through grounding practices designed to support nervous system balance, invite safety into the body, and encourage a return to homeostasis. The pace is slow, intentional, and supportive, allowing space for awareness, rest, and reconnection. Stillness speaks to us.
The Sacred Pause is for anyone feeling mentally busy, emotionally stretched, or disconnected from themselves
This is your permission to pause.
Facilitated by 2 Reiki Master Practitioners:
Expect vagal toning, Reiki (energy healing of the Chakras) meditation, sounds of the Buffallo drum and Tibetan bowl.
We have been running this workshop since Spring and the feedback from attendees is that they feel lighter and more connected to themselves when they leave.
