The S.T.E.A.D.Y. Parent Method™ Workshop
A practical, supportive workshop helping parents respond to emotions, behaviour, anxiety, and overwhelm with confidence.
The S.T.E.A.D.Y. Parent Method™ Workshop
Parenting isn’t just about strategies.
It’s about understanding what’s happening underneath the behaviour — for your child and for you.
In this in-person half-day workshop, you’ll learn how to respond to your child’s big emotions, shutdowns, or challenging behaviour in a way that actually works in real life — not just in theory.
The S.T.E.A.D.Y. Parent Method™ is rooted in attachment, nervous system awareness, and the reality of modern parenting. This isn’t about being the “perfect parent”. It’s about feeling more steady, more confident, and more equipped in the moments that usually feel hardest.
Together, we’ll explore:
- Why your child behaves the way they do (beyond labels like “attention-seeking” or “defiant”)
- What’s happening in the nervous system during meltdowns, anxiety, or withdrawal
- How to respond in the moment without escalating things further
- How your own stress, triggers, and past experiences can show up in parenting
- Practical, realistic tools you can actually use at home
This is a supportive, down-to-earth space — no judgement, no jargon, and no pressure to “get it right”.
You’ll leave with a clearer understanding of your child, a stronger sense of what to do, and a way of parenting that feels more steady and sustainable.

Agenda
What We'll Cover
This is a half-day workshop with a mix of teaching, reflection, and practical application. We’ll move through: Understanding behaviour differently (what’s underneath “defiance”, shutdown, or overwhelm) The nervous system and emotional regulation (what’s happening in your child — and in you — in difficult moments) The S.T.E.A.D.Y. Parent Method™ framework (a clear, structured way to respond without escalating things further) Real-life parenting scenarios (how this actually looks at home — not just in theory) Practical tools and responses (what to say, what to do, and how to stay steady under pressure) There will be space to reflect, ask questions, and think about how this applies to your own child — but no pressure to share.
