Working with aspiring independent artists, creators, designers and makers, Ormus operates from a retail gallery store in Aberdour, Fife, an online store, and on a consultancy basis.

Our retail spaces stock a selection of curated art, design, gift items and homewares.

We specialise in carefully curated limited edition prints, original art and a range of homewares items including lamps, ceramics, textiles and objet d'art.

With an ethos of nurturing independent creatives, the focus behind the Ormus brand is authenticity, originality and sustainability, and wherever possible from responsibly sourced and recycled materials.

Ormus also aims to be a creative hub that brings together a broad network of like-minded people across the artistic and creative communities. We hold regular exhibitions showcasing emerging and established artists and homeware designers. We also host workshops and events exploring the latest homewares trends and innovations and discoveries in art.

Our vision is that Ormus will become a Scottish staple renowned as a home for original and imaginative design.

Ormus is owned by 3 partners, each representative of multiple marginalised groups, including the LGBTQ+ communities, the disabled and neurodivergent communities and the global ethnic majority. With these identities and lived experiences at our core we aim to promote diversity, equity and inclusion throughout our connections with customers, commercial clients and in our partnerships with a diverse range of artists and makers.
