Are you a total DIY novice or just looking to brush up on a few skills? Join us at The Sunday Builder, a DIY master class that will take you step by step through various DIY jobs, leaving you with the confidence to tackle challenges in your own home – be that making small improvements or protecting your rental deposit!

The Sunday Building is a programme inspired by the Farrell Centre’s exhibition BUILDING, facilitated by experienced technician and DIY-er Katy Coles. The programme works to empower participants and promote the sharing of skills.

Lesson 2 – Bathrooms

In our second session we will be tackling the often grotty bathroom DIY tasks. Our DIY Master will teach us how to remove tired, mouldy silicon and how to reseal and replace it, as well as learning how to lay and grout tiles.

About BUILDING

The Farrell Centre presents BUILDING: An exhibition under construction which will transform the exhibition galleries into live making spaces in an exploration of the process of building.

The exhibition emerges from the major research project Translating Ferro / Transforming Knowledges of Architecture, Design and Labour for the New Field of Production Studies (TF/TK).
