Overview

An evening of 'Songs & Supper' in the candle lit setting of Kahaila, Brick Lane.

A live music night where the stage is replaced by a candle-lit meal table.

This is a place of connection and community, sharing food and wine, lives and stories with 'un-amplified', intimate, acoustic performances from Wilderthorn and friends.

Everyone is invited to bring food and wine to share with friends and strangers alike!

Share your favourite dish, a home cooked speciality or something plain and simple. See details below for guidance on what to bring.

Whatever you bring, bring to share!

£10 suggested donation per person.

Starts promptly 8pm

We want everyone to feel welcome at The Table. If you are able and would like to give more than the suggested amount it will be gladly received! This will help surpass our running costs and give towards our artists and Kahaila as a Charity.

Cook to share. Cook with love.

It could be a beloved family dish? You could go to town with a meal that says something about you, your history or heritage or just knock together a plain and simple pasta or salad dish that is quick and easy to make. Vegan / Veggie dishes are encouraged. Cook with four people in mind. We have plug sockets if you are bringing a slow cooker and a small microwave for heating.

*Please avoid bringing a small packet of food direct from a supermarket (This isn't quite the spirit of the night).

If cooking isn't your thing then we also have options to bring wine, bread or salad which are very welcome.

Please bring a little paper or card label with the ingredients written out clearly and remember to pack in preparation for the journey back.

Wilderthorn is known for Secret Gigs in disused and abandoned spaces, turning forgotten places of history and atmosphere into wild and magical ‘Wilderthorn-experiences’.

As host of the night, Jon brings to The Table his array of acoustic and alt-folk songs, created and etched over years of performing in clubs, venues, forests and campfires all over the country. Each night he is joined by musicians and friends performing un-amplified around the table.
