A family friendly performance of marionettes (string puppets) based around woodland animals, followed by a short puppet making workshop

Roll up, roll up! Come and join the Treetop Circus. A wonderfully quirky performance of marionette (string puppets) made by artist/puppeteer Sarah Vigars and accompanied by live music/sound effects by musician Louis Bingham.

Sarah makes and performs the puppets and has been inspired to create a pine marten character, from the Two Moors pine marten project, headed by Devon Wildlife Trust.

Held in the Make SouthWest space, (Riverside Mill, Bovey Tracey) where the exhibition Kinetic is currently running. Cafe and loos onsite and parking nearby.

Designed for families and suitable for younger children, this gentle and enchanting performance is followed by a short puppet making workshop. Make your own simple puppet from paper and card!

Space is limited so booking essential. Age suggestion 5-11yrs. All children will need an accompanying adult

*Numbers are limited due to equipment sharing, so book on early and please DO let us know if you are unable to attend so we can allocate your space to another.

This event is part of the Two Moors Pine Marten Project which is made possible with support from The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to the #NationalLottery players, this project aims to restore healthy populations of pine martens to the South West of England.
