PANELLIST: AYSHA SCOTT FOUNDER OF FILMMAKING PLANNER & INDIE FILMMAKER

Born and raised in Deptford during the vibrant 1980s, my upbringing was a colourful one. I've always dreamt of telling captivating stories that make a lasting impact. After years as an actress, in 2015, I launched A Scott Productions to venture into indie filmmaking, where I've created a series of powerful films.Fast forward to 2020, the world was shaken by the pandemic, and my career came to a halt. Frustrated and disheartened, I took a step back from the industry and embarked on a personal healing journey, seeking solace and inspiration from within.During this transformative time, I discovered the power of journals and planners. I poured my heart and soul into fleshing out the life I wanted, meticulously mapping out my filmmaking ideas. I grew tired of piecing together my vision on loose scraps of paper, complex templates, and sticky notes.I channelled my creativity and tenacity into a new business venture. Late nights turned into months of designing and planning, fuelled by tears and unwavering determination. Then in 2023, my manifestations came into fruition and Filmmaking Planner was born.My success as a filmmaker speaks volumes about my talent and resilience. Despite never attending film school or securing funding, my films have won numerous awards, screened globally, and amassed millions of views online. My journey stands as a testament to the fact that with passion, creativity, and the right tools, dreams can become a reality.
