Hidden Juke-joint Ram Jam Records is an intimate independent venue in Kingston upon Thames programming Jazz, Funk, Blues and Soul at it's weekly Speakeasty Party on Saturday nights. Far from being only venture we are home to Kingston's Hip-Hop community hosting our monthly show Rapper's Delight and we host a sell out Stand up comedy night every Friday night with Crack Comedy. You will also find all types of music on our much loved stage as we work with local and touring artists to bring you a variety of gigs, 2022 saw Rock, Metal, Folk, Bluegrass, Rap, Indie/ Alt and  Dance. Basing their sound on the swinging soul of the great artists who recorded for Chess Records in the 50s <a href="http://www.theuntouchablesblues.com/about.html" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">The Untouchables</a> are a regular fixture of The Speakeasy Party at Ram Jam Records.The Untouchables transport you back to the days of rent parties &amp; rumbas when the great Blues masters kept them dancing till the early hours.With a string bass, a vintage drum kit, a cranked guitar through a hot valve amp and a wailing harp, this band turns any venue into a rocking juke joint. The group comprised of vocalist Chuck Askerneese, guitarist and vocalist Clyde Grimes, bassist Derek Breakfield, keyboard player Brewster, and an alternating crew of percussionists and horn players.“ These players have lived and breathed the style until it&#x27;s so much a part of them that it oozes out of their pores. If you like Little Walter, Bo Diddley or Willie Dixon, then this is as close as you’ll get to seeing them live.
