The (VIrtual) Workshop Lab

Dirk Slater is the FabRider inFabRiders, and has spent the last quarter of a century finetuning his training and facilitation techniques. He provides support and training for the 500+ MozFest Facilitators every year. Dirk also has more than two decades experience working with activists and advocates in over thirty countries on a variety of social change issues including: the empowerment of marginalised communities, defending the right to freedom of expression, and improving governmental transparency and accountability.

<P>This workshop will provide you with a grounding on how to design and facilitate online and offline sessions that support knowledge sharing and learning. We will do a deep dive into how adults learn and apply ADIDS, a useful workshop format that emphasises interaction, to our own session topics. By the end of the day, you will have your own workshop session design that has been peer-reviewed by other participants.</P>
<P>This workshop is for people working in NGO's and Charities.</P>
