On Wednesday 21st June 2017, SheSays and The Voice of a Woman are launching The VOWSS, a new annual addition to the creative calendar, and part of the Fringe Festival at Cannes Lions.
The VOWSS screening is a selection of the best short films – commercials, branded content, dramas, documentaries, art/experimental-films and music-videos – created by women internationally. It promises to be some of the best content to be aired in the week of the festival.
Film screenings will be followed by live interviews and panel discussions. The evening closes with drinks and canapes, and an award given for the best work in The VOWSS 2017.
Doors open: 2pm Talks and screenings: 2:30pm - 5pm Networking, drinks, canapes and The VOWSS Award presentation: 5pm-6pm
Please note that due to the busy nature of Cannes, we are releasing more tickets than seats available in the cinema. Please arrive early to get a seat before the theatre fills up. There will be a select amount of seats reserved for VIP guests.
We appreciate all donations to The VOWSS, but please understand that regardless of donation there is no guarantee of entry on the door. We have a strict seating limit and the door will be run on a first-come-first-in basis.
