E﻿qual Equity is a partnership with the National Youth Agency to capacity more Black/ POC lead youth organisations into Leadership,Mangement &amp; Strategy with the aim of building a more equitable youth sector for all communities.Who is the workshop for?Any UK based B﻿lack/POC Lead youth focused organisations.T﻿rainer BioMonique Williams is a practicing psychoanalytical psychotherapist currently in training with The Site for Contemporary Psychoanalysis. Monique has over eleven years' experience in senior leadership and frontline roles, supporting people on the margins of society from men leaving custody to women living in isolation within the community. With a background spanning experience in mental health, mentoring, psychology and the criminal justice sector, Monique is passionate about working with people therapeutically outside of the traditional clinic setting. Alongside her private practice, Monique is a senior counsellor and assessment worker at the Highbury Counselling Centre and works part time in senior leadership for a successful charity, Switchback, supporting men on release from prison. In addition, Monique runs a weekly group for women experiencing isolation in southeast London. Monique's qualifications include a Degree in Clinical Psychology (BSc hons) from London South Bank University (2012) and a post-graduate diploma in Psychodynamic Practice (Distinction) from Birkbeck University (2019).
