If you are black and live, work or are educated in Richmond Upon Thames, tell your story!
About this event
London Borough of Richmond-Upon-Thames is looking to hear the experiences of black people who work, live or study in the Borough to help us improve our services in the future and help us challenge any prejudices and behaviours that impact the lives of local people.
- We are keen to know more about your experiences with accessing Health Care or Statutory Services
- How well supported you feel in the borough
- What barriers you think exist as a Black resident living, studying or working in Richmond upon Thames
- What matters most to you, e.g. if you could change one thing what would it be?
We plan to conduct this through a listening exercise in a sensitive and safe manner which helps identify barriers or challenges. This will be conducted through a virtual themed Community Conversation event in partnership with Healthwatch Richmond at the end of October. We hope that this on-going dialogue will help local black residents influence real change in the area in which they live, work or study in conjunction with the local authority. This information will be confidential.
The event will take place on Zoom and all participants will be sent a link to the meeting once they register.
