Canine Concern Scotland Trust (CCST) was set up in 1988 to run a voluntary Therapet® service which involves registered dogs and their owners working with different institutions to provide pet therapy and comfort to all they encounter. Open to all University of Stirling students and staff, these sessions are being delivered in collaboration with volunteers of CCST.
The 'Therapets' and volunteers will be on campus for two hours and you will have approx. 20 minutes allocated interaction with a pup(s). We ask that when booking, you only select ONE timeslot to allow the maximum number of people to have a chance to book in. Please note that if you book in for more than one slot, we will be in touch to ask you to select your preferred and will then remove you from the other(s).
Please be aware this may not be suitable for you if you have animal related allergies as some of the dogs have long coats. We will be running this event on a first come first served basis which means that if you're unable to book a ticket, please do just come along on the day and we will be able to accommodate if you are one of the first.
Please also note that the timings of 13 Nov slot may change slightly due to volunteer availability, however, if this happens we will update you asap by email. Sound up your street? Simply book your space below.
This event is running as part of the university’s BeConnected Programme, designed to help you enjoy your time on campus, take a breather from studies/work, and meet new people.
Event is subject to change and complimentary offerings available while stocks last, on a first come first served basis. This event forms part of our Be Connected programme, available on the University of Stirling website. Please contact events@stir.ac.uk for all associated queries.
