Therapeutic Writing Workshop

Therapeutic Writing Workshop

Gateshead Central LibraryGateshead, England
Saturday, Jan 31, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm GMT
Overview

Come along to a creative and inspiring session, where you’ll be guided through psychology-based writing prompts to explore your inner world

At this relaxed session, you'll discover the differences between therapeutic and creative writing, but also how they pair well together. You'll be guided by a trained therapeutic writing practitioner through psychology based prompts and exercises, and use all the material for some honest, authentic creative pieces (should you wish.) There is no pressure to share your work with the group, and no writing experience is needed.

A kitchen area with free tea and coffee making facilities is available during the session.
