OPEN in Norwich is a multi-purpose venue providingyouth activities, live music, events and conferences all in the heart of NorwichThe OPEN Youth Trust was established to provide opportunities for young people in Norfolk including those who are most disadvantaged, with the longer term aim of making a positive difference to their lives.Through the commercial activitiesOPEN Conference,Live Music&CLOSED Secure Storage, the OPEN Youth Trust is able to offer a range of different activities, most of which are free to attend, for young people aged 7 – 25.

Think Global, Act Local with Ian Scott, former Director of the World Bank
Continuing our series of high-level networking events created for business leaders, come and join us at OPEN to hear Ian Scott and support the work of OPEN Youth Trust.
Ian Scott worked with the World Bank for 25 years, latterly as the Director of Organisation.  Since retiring from the Bank, he has divided his time between advising Chief Executives and corporate boards on strategic management in the public, private and voluntary sectors.  Ian also has a background in journalism, broadcasting and academia at the London Business School and the University of Oxford.  He recently gave the keynote address at the Global Youth Forum in Washington DC.
Ian will be presenting a global perspective of issues facing young people and their relevance to young people and businesses in Norfolk.
