'This is Shropshire' Programme Information Sharing Event

Celebrating Vibrant Shropshire: A Cultural Compact's 'This is Shropshire' Programme funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund

Join us for an evening of information and celebration in the Mulberry Room at the Gateway Centre in Shrewsbury. The evening will feature presentations from some of the amazing projects commissioned through the 'This is Shropshire' Cultural Programme. The evening will also be a great networking opportunity allowing you to meet lots of Shropshire's cultural organisations and practitioners.

The presentations will give insights into the events and activities offered through the programme, the impact the funding has had for the organisations, the impact the project has had on its communities and the project legacies.

This event is entirely funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)

Schedule for the evening:

• 5:30pm: Arrival drinks
• 6:00pm: Presentations begin
• 7:15pm: Refreshments and networking time

'This is Shropshire' is a cultural commissioning programme set up by Vibrant Shropshire, the county's Cultural Compact, to showcase the breadth of cultural activity that Shropshire has to offer. The programme is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

The projects were all community-focused and addressed various priorities such as improving health and wellbeing, celebrating the environment, working with disadvantaged communities or working with local schools.

The evening will feature presentations from a selection of the organisations about their projects as well as a funding roundup from Vibrant Shropshire as the UKSPF funding comes to a close. After presentations, refreshments will be provided and there will be opportunity to chat and mingle.
