A discussion about Teesside’s future with a high-powered business panel and a speech from re-elected mayor Ben Houchen will be the highlights of a launch event for This Is Tees Valley 2024-25 – but booking is essential.
The event will act as the official launch for the fourth edition of This Is Tees Valley, an annual publication talking up our region to a national audience.
Taking place at beautiful Wynyard Hall over the lunchtime of Thursday, July 18, the launch event will feature a discussion about the region’s potential, its opportunities and challenges.
Featuring on the panel are:
• John McCabe – chief executive, North East Chamber of Commerce
• Claire Preston – head of operations, Power of Women
• Imran Anwar – managing director, Alt Labs & member, Tees Valley Business Board
• Dr Bill Scott OBE DL – CEO, Wilton Engineering
Tees Valley mayor Ben Houchen, who was recently re-elected for a third term in office, will also speak about the exciting developments taking place across the region.
There’ll be networking opportunities over refreshments and a light buffet from 11.30am before guests are asked to take their seats at 12.30pm. The event ends at 2pm.
Guests will also be able to take away a copy of This Is Tees Valley 2024-25, hot off the press, an annual publication produced by Resolution Media and Publishing – the team behind Tees Business – in association with Tees Valley Combined Authority.
