This walk and talk will explore Hardy’s connections with the village of Puddletown.

Puddletown was the home to at least 22 of Thomas Hardy's close relatives. This walk and talk will explore Hardy’s connections with the village of Puddletown. This is the Weatherbury of his novel Far From The Madding Crowd, but references to Puddletown can be found in other novels and poems.

There will be readings and plenty of Hardy chat.

Please note that no public transport buses run in the evening.
