Enthusiastic amateur,  loves trying to make things with Raspberry Pis and Microbits, occasionally succeeds.I am organising this Raspberry Jam with invaluable support from Thorpe St Andrew High School.

Tickets still available. Grab a free ticket or two now. You can sign up for Workshops on the day at the Jam. Find the list on the wall and add your name.
DOORS OPEN - 10:00am
10:15am - 10:20am Show & Tell - Use your Pi to become a better Monopoly player!
10:20am - 10:25am Show & Tell - Building a Working Computer Inside Minecraft
10:30am - 11:15am Workshop #1 - Story Telling with Twine Using Twine to create interactive stories.
11:20am - 11:25am Show & Tell - Creating Random Mazes using Python & Minecraft
11:30am - 12:30pm Workshop #2 - Electronics Workshop Back by popular demand, come and try one of our Raspberry Pi electronic kits or build a physical game with a Microbit.
Open during the Jam: Play some Raspberry Pi powered games in the Game Zone. Attempt the Bomb Disposal Challenge. Drop In Coding Room - coding challenges ahoy! Check out the great projects bought in by other Pi fans and techies

Q.  Is there a minimum age requirements for attending the Jan?
There are no minimum age requirements as such but all children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Q. What's the refund policy?
Admission is free so we don't need one! If you order a ticket and find you cannot attend please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite so someone else can attend.
 
Q. Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
You don't have to bring a printed ticket. You can use the Eventbrite app on your phone to show us the ticket or sign in on the door as we will have a list of everyone registered.
 
Q. Do I need to order a ticket to attend?
Yes. Please register for a ticket to guarantee admission.
 
Q. Photographs and videos
Photographs and videos may be taken at the event. Please note that by purchasing tickets you are giving permission for us to take pictures or videos and use them on our website. If you do not wish to give consent or have any questions please contact the organiser.
 
Q. How do I get there and where do I park?
If you are driving or on foot, please use the entrance on Pound Lane and park next to the artificial football pitches. Signs will point the way to the Jam.
Exhibitors bringing projects and volunteers can drive around to the rooms hosting the Jam and drop off their projects.
The First Bus 24 & 24A routes pass right by the school.

Please note:  For safeguarding reasons children (16 and under) must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times
Plus it's fun for families to code and learn together.
