Open Rights Group is the UK's only digital campaigning organisation working to protect the rights to privacy and free speech online. With almost 3,000 active supporters, we are a grassroots organisation with local groups across the UK.

Open Rights Group London

This is the first in a series of workshops aimed at helping people gauge the kinds of privacy threats they face day-to-day when using smartphones, computers or tablets. ORG's campaigns officer Ed Johnson-Williams will demonstrate the kinds of data you unintentionally give away every day, and what are the best tools available for guarding your anonymity and protecting your privacy online.
PLEASE NOTE: This event is not aimed at cyber secrity or information security experts; instead it is open to those with basic skills in data privacy who wish to build up their knowledge base. There will be a chance to provide feedback and shape the outcome of the next workshops, according to what topics you would like to see covered.
This event is free, but spaces are limited so booking is essential. Please bring your own laptop to get the most out of the session.
