Third Thursday is our monthly social for founders, creatives, technologists and community members.

No pitching. No panels. No forced intros.
Just a relaxed evening designed to help you meet good people and have better conversations.

This month’s theme is strengths, complementary teams, and telling your story with confidence.

What is it?

Each Third Thursday follows the same format:

Arrival from 6.00 pm and a drink on us

6.30 pm - speaker

7.15 - pizza and continuing the conversation

8 pm - close

We aim to keep these evenings, fun, light, and a great place to get together.

What's the plan?

Most of us already roughly know what we’re good at.
But refining it, communicating it, and leaning into it without feeling cringe? That’s the hard part.

And when it comes to building teams (co-founders, collaborators, hires), there’s an even bigger question:
How do you bring in people who are brilliant at the things you’re not, without feeling threatened by them?

We’ll start with a short warm-up and a prompt-led networking activity (designed to be genuinely useful, and friendly for introverts too). Then we’ll hear from Kate Berry, who’ll share practical ideas to take away on building confidence in your strengths, shaping your story, and creating more complementary teams around you.

Expect:

• a guided warm-up to get conversations flowing (without awkwardness)
• time to meet people based on how you work, not just what you do
• a short talk from Kate with real takeaways you can use straight away
• plenty of space for relaxed conversation afterwards

You’ll leave with:

• clearer language for what you’re great at (and what you want to do more of)
• a sharper sense of what you need from others to thrive
• new connections that actually make sense for where you’re heading next
