AI as Co-worker? Shared Agency and the Dynamics of Collaboration
How do humans and AI truly collaborate? Using coordination science, this lecture asks how shared agency works without losing accountability.
Collaboration involves shared goals, turn-taking and repair after breakdown. Drawing on coordination science, we examine how humans and AI work together in high-risk and everyday settings. Effective partnership depends less on computational scale than on alignment and trust; we ask how shared agency can be designed without dissolving accountability.
