This hands-on event will take place on an outdoor terrace at EDGE Olympic (Office Workspace Building), located at Fred. Roeskestraat 115 in the vibrant city of Amsterdam, hosted by Shakti.ism, a social enterprise with a mission to create employment for women from disadvantaged communities.

• A handmade textile of your choice to print on; choose from a tea towel, tote bag, or cushion cover, each lovingly crafted by our artisan partners in India
• A brief introduction to Shakti.ism’s mission and social impact, empowering women artisans across South Asia and the Global South
• A deep-dive into the history and technique of block printing, one of the world’s oldest and most beautiful textile traditions
• A chance to experiment with our vast collection of handmade blocks, play with eco-friendly inks, and create your own unique designs
