What happens when Europe’s cultural heritage innovators meet the people shaping its creative future?

Time Machine Connect 2026 brings together the Time Machine Organisation (TMO) and EIT Culture & Creativity communities in Aarhus to explore how cultural heritage data, digital technologies and creative expertise can come together to create new opportunities for innovation and collaboration.

From heritage data, 3D models and digital infrastructures to creative businesses, new technologies and innovative applications, the event will showcase what both ecosystems have to offer. And, more importantly, what they can build together.

Through matchmaking, lightning talks, European project showcases and a hands-on Time Atlas workshop, participants will discover potential partners, explore available resources and identify opportunities for joint projects, pilots and future funding.

A particular focus will be on Time Atlas, TMO’s shared infrastructure for connecting and discovering local cultural heritage data. The hands-on session will demonstrate how heritage resources can be accessed and reused to support new creative, cultural, educational and tourism applications.

The conversation will continue the following day at the EIT Culture & Creativity North Regional Hub, where Time Atlas will be presented to the wider EIT ecosystem.
