We want to make Leeds the best city to grow old in.Leeds Older People’s Forum is a network of third sector organisations working with and for older people.We have developed a test and learn approach to finding out what works to  ensure older people have the opportunities, choices and support they need to live the life they want.LOPF is a registered charity.

<h3>This event will take place online</h3>Intergenerational Work has always been an important part of LOPF’s work, and over the last 18 months, with much talk about intergenerational rivalry in the media, who like to create a story by telling us about potential conflict, Time to Shine has been running a number of intergenerational projects funded through the Small Funds stream. They will have come to a close and this will provide an opportunity to share the learning from a number of intergenerational activities run by delivery partners over the past 6 years, as well a specific part of the Age Friendly work.


 As Time to Shine moves into its seventh and final year we are running a series of events for older people's organisations. These events are of interest to anyone who works with older people, managers, paid workers and volunteers. The events will share the learning gathered from Time to Shine delivery partners in Leeds over the last six years, and will also include learning from the other 13 Ageing Better programmes. They will also involve you in discussion with colleagues about how you might use this learning in real life settings within your organisations. The zoom link will be sent to you when you book. Please do encourage colleagues to join the event but ask them to book themselves so we can get an idea of numbers.The event is freeThe presentations are available as word documents for anyone using screen reading software, just ask.
