What age is this session for?

This session is for babies, suggested from birth to 12 months old OR slightly older as long as they are not yet walking.

Can older siblings come?

No. This session is solely for tiny babies. If you would like to attend with an older sibling, please book onto Open Play which is for 0-4 year olds or Replay for 3-6 year olds.

Is there parking for this event?

Yes. Parking spaces are available at DMU visitor car park on a first come first serve basis. It's pay and display. Press the buzzer and let security know you are here for an event at Leicester Gallery upon arrival. Address: DMU Visitor Carpark - The Gateway, Leicester, LE1 9BH.

Space-themed sensory party celebrating the National Space Centre's final day of Planet Parade, especially for babies under 12 months.

Join us for a fun, space-themed sensory party as we celebrate the National Space Centre’s final day of Planet Parade, full of play, exploration, and discovery! This workshop is for babies under 12 months old or slightly older not-yet walking babies. Plus the chance to complete the Space Trail together after your session.

This is a Pay What You Can event so you choose your ticket price. There are £3, £5, £10 tickets, as well as FREE tickets for low income families. Please only book 1 ticket per family.

The Children's Clothes Swap will be available at this session. It’s simple; take anything you like or need and then drop off something when your little one has outgrown it in the future. Come together as a community to share clothes and the memories they hold, support each other to save money by not buying brand new whilst being more sustainable for the planet.
