We’re Solace. For more than 40 years we’ve supported women and children in London to build safe and strong lives. Futures free from male abuse and violence.We know that women across London are experiencing domestic and sexual violence right now. Some will die as a result. Whatever form violence comes in, from rape and trafficking to relationships based on psychological or financial control, we work to end it.We believe every kind of abuse should be challenged, never tolerated. But we know escaping violence can be the hardest thing to ever do. That’s why it's so important we’re here.We find creative and innovative ways to support thousands of women and children each year from crisis to recovery and independence. But if we want to reach everyone living in fear of violence with our life-saving services, we can’t do it on our own.Stand with us to end violence and abuse now.

Solace Women's Aid

Solace supports over 16,000 women and children each year who are affected by domestic abuse and sexual violence. We know the scale of abuse is increasing and we are committed to being there for those who need us now more than ever. 
To celebrate International Women's Day we are holding an exclusive event at the Curzon Bloomsbury. This is a free event and donations are welcome. 
We will be hosting a screening of our survivor led production "Finding Solace" by See Change Films, followed by a panel discussion with 4 amazing key speakers:

Luke &amp; Ryan Hart whose mother and sister were murdered by their father. The two surviving sons now openly share their story to raise awareness of coercive and controlling behaviour. They have released their book Operation Lighthouse, telling their story and challenging myths and stereotypes surrounding domestic abuse and coercive control.

Eliza Hatch is a photographer who runs the photojournalism project "Cheer Up Luv" -  visually striking portraits that speak out against sexual harassment faced by women in our society.<A HREF="https://www.instagram.com/cheerupluv/" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="Cheer Up Luv - instagram" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer"> Check them out here.</A>
