Action Against Hunger's oldest annual fundraising event is back and bigger than ever!

Cinnamon Club

F﻿ine dining, entertainment and vital fundraising are all wrapped up into one in this fabulous night at Action Against Hunger's newly returned event - Too Many Critics. Join us on Sunday 4 June (6pm-10.30pm) at The Cinnamon Club, for a fantastic four-course dinner and drinks with a twist - the tables will be turned with food critics in the kitchen and chefs dining! The critics cooking are Grace Dent (The Guardian), Giles Coren (The Times), Tom Parker Bowles (Mail on Sunday), Adam Hyman (CODE Hospitality), David Ellis (The Evening Standard) and Rose Prince (Food writer), with guidance from Vivek Singh (Cinnamon Club). The chefs judging include Michelin-starred Nieves Barragán (Sabor), Great British Menu 2017 winner Pip Lacey (hicce), Andrew Yeo (Hakkasan), Sameer Taneja (Benares) and Michael Yates (Nomad).Rest assured, we guarantee that you will still have a delectable Indian feast including watermelon chaat, copra patties, halibut paturi and much more. The critics will also battle it out in the Big Bread Fight, where you'll decide who has made the tastiest tandoori bread toppings!The evening will be hosted by author and television presenter Ravneet Gill. There will also be a silent and live auction, with all the proceeds funding Action Against Hunger’s lifesaving work around the world. For many, even the most basic nutritious food is further out of reach than ever before.  Life-threatening hunger is predictable, preventable and treatable, so a world without it is possible.  In 2021, Action Against Hunger supported nearly 25 million people across 51 countries.  We train parents and healthcare workers to spot the first signs of malnutrition. We deliver life-saving care to people who need it. We have a team of nutrition experts who carry out research and share it with others in the sector – including the UN – in order to improve the effectiveness, scalability and sustainability of our nutrition programmes globally. We’re at the forefront of saving lives following major disasters and emergencies.
