Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity and development trust working locally to combat the climate emergency, tackle fuel poverty and food insecurity, and bring people together for a more sustainable Kirkcaldy. Keep your garden and woodworking tools in good condition at our Tool Repair Workshop. From spades to secateurs, bring your tools along for free repairs and maintenance with experts from the Ecology Centre’s <A HREF="http://theecologycentre.org/333_The+Tool+Shed+-+Part+of+the+UK+Men's+Sheds+Network.html" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Tool Shed</A> Project. They’ll also teach you how to maintain your tools and keep them in good shape throughout, and after, the growing season.
The Ecology Centre has an excellent knowledge of tool repair, running a brilliant project with staff and volunteers refurbishing tools and sending them to community groups in Fife and to projects in Africa.
No booking is required, just drop by.
