On THURSDAY 5TH MARCH at SPRINGS STUDIO, come and get informed at TOOLBOX TALKS! 
 The basic idea: it's like TED talks on anti-inflammatories; there will be talkers and there will be listeners. QUESTIONS TO BE ANSWERED: 
 What differentiates this form of the arts in 2020 from what it was like 10 years ago? 
What has been your personal experience with it? 
What differentiates it in London to other parts of the world?
What do you predict for this form of the arts in the future?
 LISTENERS Anyone who attends the event gets a FREE TOTE BAG. Tickets purchased in advance are £8 (+ eventbrite booking fee) whilst tickets at the door will be £10. ALL profits go to Arts Emergency. SPEAKING OF This event is in aid of Arts Emergency, UK-based mentoring charity and network. Comedian Josie Long and campaigner Neil Griffiths founded Arts Emergency in 2013 as a way to do something meaningful for the young people most affected by rising tuition fees and cuts to the arts. This amazing charity offers young people the chance to pursue their interest by providing connections and opportunities. WHY DO A TALK? Practice public speaking, inform us about interesting stuff, do your bit for Arts Emergency. WHY ATTEND? Improve your knowledge, get a drink from the bar, MEET PEOPLE (the speakers are allowed to do this too). WHAT THE HELL IS A TOOLBOX TALK? The talks might be the metaphorical tools for the next time that subject comes up on a Tinder date, a pub quiz, or just as knowledge that you're happy to have! 
 
With Toolbox Talks only 1 DAY away, HERE’S THE PROGRAMME:
 
You can arrive at Peckham Springs anytime from 6pm when it all opens for the eve and get drinks from the multiple bars
 
If hungy you can grab some pizza from Bar Story
 
The talks will then take place in SPRINGS STUDIO and will kick off at approx 7:30pm

Shannon Reed - How creativity can support mental health 
Charlotte Potter - The importance of play in creativity 
Florence Blackmore and Izzy Ripley - Their experiences in creating The Yonis 

SHORT BREAK 

Frank Wright - The effects of Brexit on the UK touring industry 
Jess Raynsford - The potential for architecture to be a great medium for multi-disciplinary artists  
Roger Eaton - The Magic of Seeing 
! 
 
There will then be plenty of room for comments and questions at the end!
 
Peckham Springs will be open until midnight so if you’re feeling thirsty and hyper after the talks you can stay until then
 
Don’t forget that tickets will be slightly more on the night so grab yours NOW
 
If you sadly cannot attend the event but would still like to donate, please use the 'Donation' ticket option and all of your donation will go straight to Arts Emergency!
