Do you feel equipped to deliver key elements of the RSE curriculum?
Join us on 23rd September 2025 at 16:15 for the next stage of our 'Ending Gender-Based Violence Teacher Toolkit' training: a free, 1 hour online session as part of the Mayor’s Office’s £1 million pledge to support London’s educators to address Gender-Based Violence.
As an educator, you play a vital role in safeguarding children and young people. This session will support you to:
• Boost your awareness of Gender-Based Violence and its prevalence in Southwark.
• Increase your knowledge on the topics discussed within the Toolkit.
• Help develop your confidence in delivering lessons or activities focusing on Gender-Based Violence with children and young people.
The session will cover:
- An overview of the Gender-Based Violence discussed within the Toolkit to help boost your knowledge and confidence when completing the Toolkit activities to aid topic discussion.
- An opportunity for you to network with colleagues across the Borough and share practice.
- Information on support services available to you as an educator and those impacted by Gender-Based Violence.
- Information on how to support children and young people when raising awareness on this topic, or when responding to disclosure.

This 1 hour event will take place on Zoom. You can attend from wherever you are on your own device.
Yes. We have 30 places on this course, so although you may book multiple tickets for your staff, please be mindful of other schools who may also wish to book. If you are unable to attend please get in touch so we can make your space available for someone on the waitlist.
This training is our only session tailored to be relevant for secondary educators. However, we are also offering a session tailored for primary educators which is open to all teaching staff in London in March 2026.
If tickets for this session have sold out, please the waitlist and you will be notified when a space becomes available. Please note, you will have 3 days to accept your space before it is offered to someone else on the waitlist.
