Join us for a tote bag making workshop using sustainable materials with Thrifty Totes!

Learn how to upcycle and rework old clothes into your own unique tote bag! 🛍️

You'll be guided by Beckie from Thrifty Totes (@thrift.ytotes on instagram) in making your own bag out of upcycled clothing followed by a gentle discussion about the fashion industry's impact on the planet.

Join us on Sunday, 1st of March at 1pm at Nells Northern Quarter.

No experience needed – just come as you are, slow down and make something uniquely yours!

🪡Learn three basic sewing stitches

🔖Design your unique bag and add you own label

🛍️ Take home your creation + the Thrifty Totes Top Ten Tips for sustainable shopping, as well as all of our resources


We'd love for participants to bring their own old item of clothing ie jeans/tops to donate to keep future Thrifty Totes workshops 100% sustainable.
