About this event

Arts • Fine Art

Touchpoint brings together work from the Artists’ General Benevolent Institution’s community of Stewards. This display celebrates their dual role as both creators and custodians. Acting as a bridge between their networks and the AGBI, Stewards are the vital touchpoints between artists who find themselves unable to work due to injury or illness and the essential grants the AGBI offers.

Touchpoint exhibition also reflects on the broader meaning of a touchpoint in the creative process itself - where a brush meets canvas, a hand shapes material, or an idea takes form through contact. Each work shown becomes a testament to the moments of exchange and connection that sustain artistic practice, whether through material, community, or compassion.

By foregrounding the Stewards’ own artistic contributions, Touchpoint highlights not only the generosity and resilience at the heart of the AGBI’s mission, but also the enduring creativity that thrives when artists support artists.
