Traditional wood working - learn to make a half-lap joint
During this course you will be shown and guided through the process of making a half-lap joint
During the course of the four hour session you will be taught by an experienced furniture maker he will guide you through one of the basic joining tequniques used by carpenters, learning to make a half-lap joint, you will get the chance to practise these joints by making a trivet and then will be able to take it home with you.
Terry will talk through when and how these joins are most useful, whether you are a begniiner or already a dab hand in your own garage, this is a great way to start learning what the experts know.
The course will involve being hands on in our workshop and using our tools and space, while learning a key skill under Terry and Lily's supervision.
