TRAID Late Fundraiser

Traid is a UK charity on a mission to change fashion for the better. Keeping clothes in use for longer is at the core of our work. We do this by providing convenient ways for the public to reuse clothes while delivering education to people of all ages to raise awareness of the powerful environmental and social benefits of reducing our clothing footprint.Traid completes the circle by committing the funds raised to global projects benefiting the people and places where our clothes are made. The work we support aims to improve environmental and social outcomes, right now Traid is supporting cotton farmers, garment workers and their children across the world to make fashion fairer for everyone.

Join our late-night secondhand shopping fundraiser on Thursday 27th April, 6pm - 9pm, at TRAID Dalston.

TRAID will be hosting a late night fundraiser at TRAID Dalston to mark the 10 year anniversary of the Rana Plaza garment factory collapse in Bangladesh.Join us for:Late Night Secondhand Shopping Every sale made between 6pm to 9pm will be donated directly to the Bangladesh Centre for Worker’s Solidarity, to support their incredible work to improve the rights, safety and working conditions of garment workers. Activist Embroidery and Print Workshop Drop in to our activist embroidery and print workshop, hosted by <a href="https://www.makemeestudio.co.uk/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Make Mee Studio</a>, where you can personalise your clothes. No need to book, just bring along your own garment or purchase one of TRAID’s t-shirts or tote bags to decorate! Live DJ <a href="https://www.instagram.com/rowena.alice/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">DJ Rowena</a> will be spinning tunes throughout the evening! Register to attend this free event - we encourage you to bring a clothing donation upon entry. Don&#x27;t forget to bring your own shopping bags!
