Youth Focus: North East

A training programme designed for:<ul><li>Workers who either have little or no experience of working with young people that are experiencing feelings of loneliness and isolation.</li><li>Professionals who may be at the early stages of working with young people on these kinds of issues.</li></ul>This programme has been developed by a range of partners who work in the youth sector and have experience of delivering projects specifically focused on tackling youth loneliness and isolation.Providing a structure to begin to EXPLORE, DEBATE AND DISCUSS some of the core themes associated with feelings, thoughts and experiences of being lonely and isolated.<ul><li>Definitions of youth loneliness</li><li>Causes and consequences of youth loneliness</li><li>The changing nature and context of youth loneliness</li><li>Available resources</li></ul>
