TRANS//CODED: a coding meetup for trans people

TRANS//CODED: a coding meetup for trans people

Overview

Learning to code? Working on a project? Want to start coding but don’t know how? Trans//Coded is a monthly group to discuss all things code.

Please note: this event will be held in person at Glasgow Zine Library. This event is for people who identify as trans.

Part of our Community Led Programme: events run by and for members of our community.

Learning to code? Working on a project? Working on a game? Want to start coding but don’t know where? Need help figuring out particular software? These monthly meetups are a chance to share and discuss any coding-related projects with a group of like-minded peers. Those just starting out with coding are absolutely welcome to come along and get some help in a relaxed environment. Some monthly meetups will have a guest speaker/workshop covering a specific topic or software.

All you need to bring is: yourself, any project you want to share, and a laptop (a very small number are available to use in the sessions, please get in touch beforehand to let us know).

The goal for these meetups is to create a thriving environment for trans people to share knowledge and passion for: coding, computing and any/all associated interests!
